Why do you need a clerical job?
Well for one, it is estimated that clerical jobs might be the largest occupational group in the united states, that is a pretty big deal. Clerical workers generally do the un-glamourus jobs in the office, book keeping, filing, suprivising… The salaries will generally range between $25,000 dollars and $35,000 dollars, you will not necessarily become rich working one of these jobs, but you will have a decent amount of job security and room for advancement in the office.
The economy is in bad shape, possibly in the worse shape it has been since the great depression in the 1920’s, and the number of workers unemployed seem to grow by the day, hovering around 7% of the workforce. If you are un-employed or wish to have better job security, then a clerical job will suit you well. The pay is decent, but most importantly you will most likely never be looking for a job considering the size and lack of volitilaty of the industry.
Clerical jobs are like umpires in sporting events, they are never appreciated, but always needed. If you have a big ego or wish to pursue a more lucrative industry then that is fine, but if you are just looking for a stable job with a weekly paycheck then this is a good fit.
